This is the privacy policy of Biofluid Technologies (BFT). This document explains BFT’s policies for the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information. By using the BFT’s website, or by choosing to submit personal information to BFT , you signify your consent to all of the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use this website or submit any personal information to BFT . BFT reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will promptly reflect any such modifications to this Privacy Policy on our website and will indicate at the top of this page the date this Privacy Policy was last amended. Your continued access to and/or use of the website after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of, and agreement to be legally bound by, this Privacy Policy, as revised. The Information We Collect

BFT collects information by various methods including information actively provided by its lead providers, its customers, and information arising from customer surveys and general feedback. The types of personal information we collect may include name, contact information, identification information, credit information, and other data types as appropriate or as you may provide to us. Credit card information is used for billing purposes only. We may record calls to or from our sales/customer service representatives for purposes of accuracy, performance reviews, training, and general quality assurance.

How We Use This Information

BFT does not share personal information with any third parties except as disclosed in this policy. BFT may provide personal information to BFT subcontractors and professional advisers (which shall be bound by privacy obligations) to assist BFT uses disclosed herein. We may also disclose your personal information to third parties if we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to: (i) conduct investigations of possible breaches of law; (ii) identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating an agreement they have with us; (iii) to protect our rights, safety or property or (iv) to carry out any other purpose permitted or required by law. We may also use your personal information to investigate security breaches or cooperate with government authorities pursuant to a legal matter. Lastly, we may disclose your Personal Information for any other purpose to which you consent.


Personal information is stored in a combination of paper and electronic files. They are protected by physical, organizational, and technological security measures appropriate to the nature of the information. Personal information may only be accessed by persons within our organization, or our third party service providers, who require such access to carry out the purposes indicated above. We have retention standards which meet these requirements. We destroy personal information when it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected. As a result, while we are committed to protecting your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us. Accessing Information

You have a right to request access to your personal information and to request a correction to it if you believe it is inaccurate. Individuals may review their personal information contained in BFT files by contacting the BFT privacy officer using the contact information provided below. If an individual believes that any of their personal information is inaccurate, we will attempt to make appropriate corrections. We will use reasonable efforts to comply with your access or correction request; however, in some cases we may not be able to allow you to access certain personal information in certain circumstances, for example if it contains personal information of other persons, or for legal reasons. In such cases, we will provide you with a reasonable explanation of why it is not possible to grant access to your personal information.


Cookies are used by BFT for the convenience of our users. Cookies automatically authenticate the user. A user can access the BFT web site with the cookie feature turned off; however, in doing so they may find themselves challenged for username and password information on multiple occasions. BFT also uses cookies to track user’s visits and uses that information to improve the user’s experience.


The BFT website may contain links to information at other web sites. When you click on one of these links, you are moving to another web site. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of these linked sites as their privacy policy may differ from ours. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any web site(s) owned and operated by any third party.


BFT may amend this policy from time to time. If such amendments affect how BFT uses or discloses personal information already held by BFT in a material way, BFT will obtain consent. Notwithstanding the general terms of this policy, the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information may be made outside of the terms herein to the extent provided for in any applicable privacy or other legislation in effect from time to time, or with your consent. BFT may disclose personal information to another entity purchasing (including for diligence purposes prior to purchase) the assets of (or otherwise acquiring) BFT provided that entity abides by this or a similar privacy policy.
